On 14 July we celebrated the Microsoft World Partner Conference, meeting in Washington DC to 16,000 partners from all over the world and in which Softeng was represented once again by our Director, Carlos Colell.
During the 4 days of the conference made it clear that Microsoft remains committed to Social, Devices & Mobility, Big Data, Cloud, adding as a new axis of Safety and offering more than 300 sessions to address these axes from all possible perspectives.
On the other hand, had the expected impact special general session on Wednesday in which the brand new CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella, presented for the first time the Partners giving an interesting talk about Microsoft’s strategy for the coming years. With a restrained and Steve Ballmer radically different style, Satya explained Microsoft’s vision of productivity in a “first mobile, cloud first” world and the importance of working together with Partners to drive best every person on the planet for every organization do more and get more.
Faced with such offer session, apart from general information, Softeng participated in virtually every business cloud with Office 365 and Azure at the head, where beyond discussing new functions are discussed ideas to build solutions around cloud and thus be able to help customers make the most of.
