The prestigious Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona (MACBA), declared a museum of national interest by the Generalitat de Catalunya, is dedicated to the exhibition of works from the second half of the twentieth century.
The museum required modernizing its mail solution with the objective of obtaining reliability in communications and a sufficient storage capacity to respond to the daily workload. The museum also wanted to incorporate new instant messaging and videoconferencing capabilities for its users. To do so, they decided to adopt the cloud productivity platform of Microsoft Office 365 betting on Softeng as their cloud services partner.
The solution
Softeng offered the company the migration of its communication system to Exchange Online and the automated deployment of Skype for business . In this way, the employees of the museum can communicate and collaborate with greater comfort and productivity while the company benefits from a significant cost savings thanks to the solution in the cloud.
MACBA needed to modernize the e-mail solution and provide our employees with tools that would allow them greater efficiency and flexibility by incorporating new instant messaging and video conferencing capabilities. For this we bet on the solutions in the Microsoft cloud, which offered us the flexibility and cost savings we were looking for. The professionalism of Softeng both in its advice and in the implementation of the platforms have made that the adaptation to Office 365 has been a success.
