Office 365 customers are in luck because Microsoft has just announced the inclusion of its enterprise social network Yammer in its business plans of Office 365 (E1 and E3). So far the platform was only available to customers with Office 365 Enterprise Agreement contracts.
As if this were not enough, the company has announced a major change in the way of licensing to external users (partners, suppliers or customers) that work in the social network of a company now no longer need to purchase new licenses for Yammer them.
With this change, Microsoft aims to promote collaboration with business contacts companies without these having to worry about additional costs that this entailed.
