El nuevo cliente de sincronización de OneDrive para empresas ofrece mejoras de rendimiento y potentes funcionalidades que dotan a la herramienta de una mayor velocidad y fiabilidad en la experiencia de uso, además de incluir nuevas capacidades como la elección de las carpetas para sincronizar, soporte de ficheros de hasta 10 Gb y la eliminación del límite máximo de sincronización de 20 mil ficheros. El cliente de sincronización está disponible para Windows 7, 8 y 10 (se añadirá soporte para 8.1 en el primer trimestre de 2016) y Mac OS X 10.9 y superior.

Por el momento, el nuevo cliente de sincronización soporta sólo sincronización de documentos de OneDrive para la empresa pero en próximos lanzamientos se agregará el soporte para librerías de documentos de SharePoint. Asimismo, la compañía ha anunciado que están trabajando de manera activa en otras importantes características como la integración de Office para apoyar la co-autoría de documentos y escenarios de colaboración, todas ellas planeadas para lanzarse en el segundo trimestre del 2016.

With Customer Lockbox the client explicitly controls all access to your data, be they themselves who will have in their hands the possibility to authorize or deny, through the Management Console Office 365, access to Microsoft engineers when they, for specific reasons, they need access to the content customers for assistance or troubleshooting.

From the management console Office 365 all access control activities will be recorded and may be monitored.

Advanced threat protection
Protection against advanced threats Exchange Online (ATP) is a mail filtering service based on the cloud that helps protect your company against any new type of sophisticated attack. It includes malware protection capabilities and protect against viruses and malicious URLs in real time. In addition, the ATP has advanced reporting and tracking capabilities URLs that provide IT managers an insight into the kind of attacks that are receiving the organization.

Equivio Analytics for eDiscovery
eDiscovery is the service eDiscovery Office 365 with which companies can identify, retain and export content found in Office 365 with a view to an internal investigation of the company or a legal request. In the second quarter of 2016 we will enjoy the new version of the Microsoft collaboration platform, SharePoint 2016 and so you go making an idea of all improvements and new features we have prepared a summary of the highlights.

Broadly speaking we can say that the new version of SharePoint comes with important new addition to greater integration with Office 365 and improves hybrid models. Areas for improvement and new focus on: User Experience, integration and hybrid cloud security and compliance.

User Experience
Aware of the importance of mobility, Microsoft has sought to improve this aspect in the new version of SharePoint by offering a better user experience from mobile devices to access the content, people and applications.

These improvements offer file management and document collaboration unprecedented and simple touch experience and adapted to any device with new controls to simplify the way in which users interact with documents and list items. It has also improved onedrive to get it the natural center of the files and enhanced file support up to 10GB in size as well as preview images and videos.

In addition, the new version come with a similar application launcher that gives us Office 365 and facilitates users to launch applications from the top navigation bar.

Hybrid Cloud Integration
One of the most important news of the new version of SharePoint is the hybrid solution offers us to combine Microsoft SharePoint Server and SharePoint Online for companies that do not yet have their cloud services can benefit from the performance capabilities and reliability is.

The integration offers a new feature of hybrid search through Delve Office that allows Office 365 users who also use local SharePoint, easy access to files stored in your company and in the cloud of Microsoft. Microsoft will include 3 new services, available already in draft and which we detail below:

Skype Broadcast Meeting
This new service available for Office 365 customers globally, allows a meeting over the Internet for up to 10,000 attendees can join from anywhere and from any device, and interact in the meeting.

This new service will allow you to produce and disseminate attend meetings to large audiences online and virtual host large public gatherings such as webinars.

Conferences from traditional telephony (public network / PSTN)
This new functionality allows guest users join a meeting they dialing a fixed or mobile phone via the traditional phone access and no need for Internet access. This solution is currently only available to customers Office 365 US.

PBX in the cloud (Cloud PBX with PSTN calls)
This service allows us to handle calls (receive and send calls, forward calls, voice mail) business through skype. At the moment in Spain the features of this new service are the basic services of call waiting and music they are not available.

Plans call is still hiring our usual supplier, currently in the US Microsoft is also offering calling plans but for the rest of the world there is still availability dates.
