¿Qué es OneDrive para la empresa?

Es un servicio en la nube con el que puedes almacenar, sincronizar y compartir tus archivos de trabajo. Como parte de Office 365 y SharePoint, OneDrive para la empresa te permite actualizar y compartir tus archivos desde cualquier lugar y trabajar en documentos de Office con otros usuarios al mismo tiempo.

Almacenamiento ilimitado en OneDrive para empresas

Microsoft nos ha dado la grata sorpresa de anunciar que recibirán almacenamiento ilimitado de OneDrive para empresas las suscripciones de Office 365 de más de 5 usuarios y que pertenezcan a cualquiera de los siguientes planes:

La compañía comenzará a incrementar el almacenamiento a finales de este mes, empezando por un aumento automático de 1 TB a 5 TB. Está previsto que el despliegue finalice antes de final de marzo. Nuevo cliente de sincronización

El nuevo cliente de sincronización de OneDrive para empresas ofrece mejoras de rendimiento y potentes funcionalidades que dotan a la herramienta de una mayor velocidad y fiabilidad en la experiencia de uso, además de incluir nuevas capacidades como la elección de las carpetas para sincronizar, soporte de ficheros de hasta 10 Gb y la eliminación del límite máximo de sincronización de 20 mil ficheros. El cliente de sincronización está disponible para Windows 7, 8 y 10 (se añadirá soporte para 8.1 en el primer trimestre de 2016) y Mac OS X 10.9 y superior.

Por el momento, el nuevo cliente de sincronización soporta sólo sincronización de documentos de OneDrive para la empresa pero en próximos lanzamientos se agregará el soporte para librerías de documentos de SharePoint.
