Intress relies on Softeng to automate with AI reporting

The Institute of Social Work and Social Services of Barcelona (Intress) will take a key step in its digitization process, with the accompaniment of Softeng, adopting a solution based on generative AI to optimize the development of monitoring reports, ensuring more quality in the management of social cases.

The Intress team works every day with people at risk of social exclusion, carrying out a detailed follow-up of each case. This process involves the collection and analysis of a large amount of information, which entails a significant effort in report writing.

The manual preparation of these documents is not only time-consuming, but can also lead to inconsistencies in the structure and wording of the reports.

Therefore, from Softeng we have helped them to identify the most efficient way to automate this process with AI.

A tailor-made solution with AI according to Intress’ specific process

From Softeng, we will develop a solution based on generative AI with Microsoft solutions (Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions and Azure Open AI), which automates the drafting of reports from the follow-up notes, ensuring consistency and quality in each document.

A key point has been the accompaniment of the Data & AI team of Softeng, with collaborative sessions with the Intress team from the beginning of the project to thoroughly understand their needs, workflow and reporting issues.

In this way, we will design a solution that integrates naturally into your day-to-day business, defining the key points for its activation, such as the use of email or SharePoint, and ensuring that the technology will bring real value to your social work.
