At Softeng we are clear that sustainability must be linked to innovation and that is why we have it implicit in our business model with the aim of assuming our share of responsibility with society through activities and commitments that we have been carrying out for a long time. Commitments such as our total internal digitization, constant improvement of the working conditions of our staff, strengthening the long-term relationship model that we maintain with our clients as well as supporting the most vulnerable through donations to Unicef in all our events based on to the number of attendees.
That is why when Microsoft asked us to join the ” Partner Pledge ” initiative with the aim of joining forces to promote a sustainable digital transformation, we did so without thinking since we shared the vision and commitment on the role that technology has to play to face the challenges of society.
Therefore, with this agreement we will increase our efforts in 5 scenarios:
- Digital talent: increasing the importance of digital skills for both our team and our clients.
- Opportunities: enhancing talent in young people to enrich their professional careers.
- Labor diversity: being an inclusive company for all people.
- Artificial Intelligence: promoting good practices of its use within organizations and entities committed to changing the world.
- Sustainability: carrying out actions that reduce our carbon footprint.
In this way, we confirm our commitment as a technological ambassador to bring about social change and, in addition, we reinforce our vision of making companies more competitive through technology and security.
The agreement was formalized in Calpe (Alicante) last Friday, October 22 by Carlos Colell , our CEO, during the IAMCP Organization Congress, who took the opportunity to celebrate the commitment and share his satisfaction with Carolina Castillo , Global Director of Partner Solutions from Microsoft.
